Winter time is usually associated with illnesses like colds and flu. We tend to consume vitamins and other dietary supplements which we believe will protect us from these on-off illnesses. However, most of us will still end up with some form of flu and cold symptoms during the winter months.

Soup is also widely known as a ‘comfort food’ in most eastern countries, especially to be taken when we are sick. The ease of our digestive systems absorbing the nutrients that soups offer helps in faster recovery from sickness and discomforts.
